China Yunnan is a classic indica landrace brought into structured breeding. Expect compact, columnar plants indoors with heavy central colas and a more branched, rounded silhouette if grown outdoors with a longer veg. Flowering is relatively quick for an indica, about 8–9 weeks, with average final height and a high yield potential when given moderate-to-high nutrients and warm, dry finishing conditions. Aromatically it leans toward resinous, evergreen and slightly sweet notes. The terpene profile is rich in pinene, myrcene and limonene with supporting caryophyllene, humulene and terpinolene; different plants can emphasize a creamier, slightly sweet/Asian-restaurant-like bouquet, a darker incense/hash character, or a woodier floral expression. Measured THC typically falls between roughly 8.5–17%, and CBD can range up to about 8%, so effects can vary with chemotype. Effects are characteristically euphoric, happy and ultimately relaxing — an opening lift that eases into a warm, soothing body calm. That makes this variety useful for someone who wants mood elevation first, then a clear shift toward indica-style physical relaxation. Indoor growers will find it moderately challenging but responsive to standard techniques; aim for warm vegetative temps and lower humidity in the final month to maximize trichome and bud development.
