Great White Shark

Great White Shark is an old-school indica-dominant variety (roughly 80% indica) known for a heavy, long-lasting body high and reliable cultivation. THC typically sits between about 14–23% with negligible CBD (~0.18%), and its terpene bouquet is led by myrcene with notable humulene and caryophyllene — a combo that gives earthy, slightly sweet and herbal notes with a touch of spice. Cups and awards helped cement its reputation: it took top honors in major competitions in the late 1990s and mid-2000s. In the grow room this strain is straightforward and forgiving, rated easy to cultivate. Plants tend toward a tall, vigorous structure outdoors but are described as short and bushy indoors with many branches, making them well suited to SoG and ScrOG canopy techniques. Flowering runs about 8–9 weeks, with high yields reported (hundreds of grams per m² indoors and very large outdoor yields when grown to full size). It tolerates medium-to-high nutrient levels and produces dense, resin-coated buds with orange pistils. Effects lean decidedly corporeal: expect pronounced muscle relaxation and drowsiness that can be useful for evening use or for people seeking relief from pain or insomnia. The high is often called narcotic or “body stone” — powerful but not overwhelmingly disorienting on the mental side, leaving a relatively clear head while the body unwinds.
