Critical #47 is a stout indica-dominant cross of Critical Mass and AK-47 that leans into heavy yields, fast finishes and a distinctly fruity profile. THC typically sits between about 15–25% with CBD near zero, and the cultivar has earned recognition on the competition circuit (ExpoGrow 2013). Expect dense, trichome-rich buds that give off a ripe mango and peach-forward aroma with softer vanilla and sweet wood undertones. On the consumer side, Critical #47 delivers the classic indica end: a pronounced relaxed body effect that can help unwind after a long day and reliably sparks appetite. It’s not a cerebral rocket — the high is grounding and soothing rather than stimulating, so it’s commonly used for evening relaxation and appetite support. For growers this is an accessible strain. Flowering runs short — roughly 7–8 weeks indoors — and plants tend to grow tall and branch vigorously, producing very high yields in the right conditions. It responds well to SCROG or topping but also performs fine with minimal fuss, making it suitable for growers with limited experience. Outdoors it can reach 1.5–2 m and benefits from sturdy staking and good airflow to avoid moisture issues; many growers transplant from small pots into at least 50 L containers. Moderate feeding and odor control are recommended to protect and preserve that fruity bouquet.
