Sweet Purple

Sweet Purple is a hybrid bred from three distinct lines — a Purple lineage, a high-yielding productive line, and a potent-effect line — designed with outdoor performance in mind. Plants can grow quite tall and vigorous, often reaching up to around 2–2.5 m in good soil, and the genetics produce visible variety between individuals: some plants show deep purple hues while others remain green. Flowering finishes relatively quickly for an outdoor strain, generally up to about nine weeks, and it historically won the Highlife Cannabis Cup Amsterdam 2004 (Exterior). Expect a mostly physical, relaxing effect that keeps the mind clear and can support focused activity rather than heavy sedation. THC levels are reported in the low-to-mid range (up to about 15%) with CBD at trace levels (0–1%), so the overall experience leans toward mellow relaxation and light mental clarity. Aromas and flavours run herbal and mentholated with a soft sweet undercurrent. For growers Sweet Purple is rated moderate in difficulty but built for outdoor resilience — it shows good resistance to cold and humidity and delivers high yields when given enough space and proper outdoor conditions. Plants can be tall and vigorous, producing large harvests (reports of several hundred grams per plant in optimal outdoor settings), so plan for staking or training and a late-season harvest in climates similar to northern-summer/early-autumn finishes.
