Trainwreck

Trainwreck is a classic sativa‑dominant variety (roughly 80% sativa) famed for a fast, bright onset and a potent THC range around 25–28%. Its lineage mixes Mexican and Thai sativas with an Afghani indica, which gives the smoke a sharp pine-forward aroma with lemony citrus and a peppery, spicy undercurrent. Buds are often vivid green and gold with orange/red pistils and a heavy frosting of trichomes; terpenes like pinene, limonene and caryophyllene shape its pine, citrus and mildly spicy flavour profile. On the consumer side Trainwreck hits quickly and energetically: expect an initial wave of euphoria, uplift and creativity that can sharpen focus and bring motivated, talkative energy. That cerebral rush typically eases into a balanced, mildly relaxing body sensation rather than full sedation, so it’s commonly used for daytime or creative sessions where an energetic but grounded headspace is wanted. Because of its potency, start low if you have low THC tolerance. For growers Trainwreck is relatively easy and quite productive. Plants tend to grow tall and like room to stretch — indoors they commonly reach 80–150 cm and flower in about 8–9+ weeks; outdoors they can stretch much taller and finish by early October in temperate climates. It’s a reasonably hardy plant with good resistance to mould, and when trained or given space it can produce high yields, making it a solid choice for cultivators who want big, resinous sativa flowers without needing advanced techniques.
