Zinfandel is a vigorous hybrid born from Sour Diesel BX2 crossed with NK (Nicole Kush #4). It leans toward a sativa-dominant expression but carries clear Kush-derived notes in aroma and structure. Expect compact, resin-coated colas with a bright green color and a pungent profile that nods to its Diesel and Kush lineage. Effects tend toward an energizing, focused lift layered over a grounding bodily calm — a hybrid balance that can work for daytime creativity or productive evenings depending on dose. The aroma is described as tangy-kush with earthy and even sharp, wasabi-like metallic highlights; flavors follow through with a bittersweet, herbal diesel character. Growing Zinfandel is for experienced cultivators. Plants stay around average height, are robust and can be high-yielding when managed properly, but the variety’s needs and resistance profile demand attention. Flowering runs about 9–10 weeks; expect a medium-to-high harvest if you dial in nutrients, airflow and training techniques. Overall, rewarding but not recommended for beginners.
